In the Christmas classic, It’s A Wonderful Life, performed by the Classic Theater Guild on Dec. 20, George Bailey's angel, Clarence, saves him from jumping off a bridge by showing him what his town would be like if he hadn’t lived. 

Learning about our culture, and teaching our youth their history, can help them to not only understand the past but shape a more humane society.

Residents of Medusa and Voorheesville looked up at their Christmas trees together as their branches lit up for the season.

“Think of Christmas as a magical time, a time of rebirth, a time of rekindled friendships,” said Reverend Warren Beeman of the United Church of Christ in Medusa.

Despite the disabilities and injury that have kept Kathleen Conn and her husband from steady work, they've held on to their home, and she keeps going by giving back to others.
