Residents voiced concerns about lack of trees and dangerous traffic on Route 20 as consultants discussed possible plans in a grant-funded study.

The town was awarded a grant to devise new zoning regulations for the commercial zone in the hamlet of New Scotland at routes 85 and 85A. A committee of residents has been appointed to work with a hired consultant.
