NEW SCOTLAND — The Albany County Recreation Department will host a free baseball summer camp that will provide kids a way to learn the game or improve their skills.
The camp is open to all county youth ages 7 to 13, and all equipment except for baseball gloves will be provided.
The Voorheesville Rod and Gun Club is raising funds with a breakfast on Sunday, Jan. 24, to send seven kids to Camp Colby, which serves kids ages 11 to 13, near Saranac Lake, and other camps.
GUILDERLAND — Camp Invention, supported by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the National Inventors Hall of Fame, is coming to Farnsworth Middle School the week of Aug. 10. The weeklong day camp is for students entering first through sixth grades.
