The Grace United Methodist Church at 16 Hillcrest Drive in Ravena will hold a book sale on Wednesday, July 29, through Saturday, Aug. 1. Each day, the sale will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. then, every day but Saturday, it will run again from 6 to 8 p.m.

BERNE — Jayne Fresina of Berne has had a total of 15 historical romance novels published to date, and all of them since 2011. All are available online, and six are available in print.

Elementary students gave author Jeff Kinney a rock-star welcome in Guilderland last Thursday. 

Voorheesville librarian Gail Brown calls PTSD "a silent disease": we can talk about it and begin to understand it by reading Luis Carlos Montalvan's books. He'll be at the library with his dog on Nov. 7.
