Last Thursday, Jan.15, the Bethlehem girls’ bowling squad took to the lanes as they took on Niskayuna at Del Lanes. The Eagles fell, 19-9 (2318-2244 in total pins).

On Sunday, Jan. 11, the Bethlehem indoor track team competed against other Section 2 teams in the Ed Cepiel Invitational at Springfield College. The boys finished 20th with 11 points and the girls finished eighth with 37 points.

On Friday, Jan. 9, the Bethlehem ice hockey team took to the ice at the Bethlehem YMCA in Delmar as they took on Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake-Ballston Spa. The Eagles battled tough in the first period but then couldn’t muster much in the offensive zone as they fell 5-2.

On Saturday, Dec. 27, the Bethlehem boys’ wrestling squad battled in the Queensbury Holiday tournament against 15 other teams, two from out of state. The team won two individual championships and finished third with 189 points.

On Saturday, Dec. 20, the Bethlehem boys’ basketball team hosted a non-league matchup against Section 1’s Fox Lane at home. From the opening tip, the Eagles never trailed as they soared to a 53-38 win.

On Friday, Dec. 19, the Bethlehem and Guilderland girls’ wrestling teams battled on the mat at Niskayuna High School in the Holiday Headlocks tournament. Bethlehem finished second with 75 points and Guilderland 11th with 21.5 points.

Last Thursday, Dec. 18, the Bethlehem gymnastics team took to the mat as they took on Shaker on Senior Night at Bethlehem High School. Bethlehem fell 159.600-154.625.

On Tuesday, Dec. 16, the Bethlehem girls’ basketball squad hosted a Suburban Council matchup against Averill Park. The Eagles used their stifling defense all game long to soar away to a 69-to-40 win.

Last Thursday, Dec. 4, the Bethlehem boys’ bowling team traveled to KingPin’s Alley Latham to kick off their season as they took on Colonie. The Eagles battled in the three games but fell, 21-11 (3178-2715 in total pins).

On Friday, Nov. 21, Bethlehem’s Ellie Danz and Natalie Hopper battled 39 other top New York State divers in the New York State High School Athletic Association’s 1-meter diving championships at Webster-Schroeder High School.
