Voorheesville may have turned a serious corner on its season by holding nothing back at Lansingburgh.

Some basketball leagues of Section 2 will be restructured for next year following the fall out of the Big 10; Guilderland, Voorheesville, and Berne-Knox-Westerlo will have new opponents. 

The Guilderland basketball team is off to a hot start with no losses.

Sophomore Monique Britton was two points shy of breaking the scoring record for a single game as Berne-Knox-Westerlo drubbed Sharon Springs.

Voorheesville controlled the boards and kept the basketball moving against Cohoes.

Voorheesville has a fast girls' basketball team this season, and Cobleskill found that out really quickly last Friday.

The Berne-Knox-Westerlo basketball team couldn't get anything going against Bishop Gibbons.

Change can be a good thing.

There are plenty of new faces for the Guilderland basketball team — including the head coach — but the foundation doesn't have to be rebuilt.
