GUILDERLAND — The Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission is hosting its first-ever Pine Bush Big Birding Day from Friday, June 30, at 6 p.m. to Saturday, July 1, at 8:30 p.m.
An initiative by the Department of Environmental Conservation to preserve a habitat of young forests has led to action plans for two protected areas in Albany County: the Louise E. Keir Wildlife Management Area in Coeymans, and the Margaret Burke Wildlife Management Area in Knox.
