These local students have recently been named to the dean’s list or received a similar honor from their college or university for the spring 2016 semester:

— Turi Julian Scilipoti, a senior majoring in applied music at the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester. Scilipoti is a resident of Berne, and is the child of Paul Scilipoti and Carly Wright;

— Margaret Kuchinski of Delmar, majoring in public relations, at Champlain College in Vermont;

— Colin Rebord of Delmar majoring in management of creative media,  at Champlain College in Vermont;

— Morgan A. O’Hare of Slingerlands, a member of the Class of 2016, majoring in biology at St. Lawrence University in Canton. She attended Academy of the Holy Names;

— Erin G. Hogan of Delmar, a member of the Class of 2019, at St. Lawrence University in Canton. She attended Emma Willard School;
