Guilderland Dutchmen did well on the field even if they fell short of a championship. Guilderland varsity baseball batted like Andrew Blair and pitched well all the way to the Class AA sectional semifinal and lost against eventual state champion Shenendehowa.

For the 10th year straight, Guilderland girls’ lacrosse — including Kerry Gerety — got back to a place where they’re used to — the finals. In the end, they lost to Shaker.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs showed power and speed during the spring season. Propelling to states, Shayla Lyons finished fourth in the state with 118 feet, 9 inches.
