GUILDERLAND — A team of 11 Guilderland Martial Arts students will compete in the 2016 USA Taekwondo National Championships in Richmond, Virginia from July 3 to 10.

Team members ranging in age from 6 to 53 will compete in floor exercise and board-breaking disciplines. This year, there are over 5,000 entries from all over the country.

Guilderland Martial Arts competitors have been preparing for this tournament since the fall and each successfully qualified earlier this spring.

Competitors finishing in the top eight at this National Championship event will be invited to compete at team trials for a spot on Team USA later this summer.
