NEW SCOTLAND — Audrey J. Foster “passed away peacefully...with her loving family by her side,” her family wrote in a tribute. She died on Monday, March 28, 2016, at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was 85.

Mrs. Foster was born to Charles and Mabel Zorn. She married Rodney M. Foster Sr.

Mrs. Foster worked as a certified nursing assistant.

“She dedicated her life to caring for others,” her family wrote.

“Audrey had a love for all animals, especially her cats,” they wrote.

Audrey J. Foster is survived by her granddaughter, Deborah Knoll, and her husband, Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Melissa, Gabriel, and Michael; her long-time companion, James Young; her beloved cat, Mikey; and her nieces and nephews.
 

Mrs. Foster’s parents, Charles and Mabel Zorn, died before her, as did her husband, Rodney M. Foster Sr.; her son, Rodney M. Foster II, and her daughter-in-law, Lynne M. Foster.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Prospect Hill, Guilderland.
