Frances Virginia Krause Schoenlein

Frances Virginia Krause Schoenlein of Cameron, North Carolina died peacefully on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at her home. She was 76.

She was born on Jan. 2, 1940 in Albany to the late Edward Krause and Wanda Thomas Krause. She graduated from Voorheesville’s high school and then from the Mildred Elley School in Albany. She retired from working for the Roman Catholic Diocese in Albany.

She is survived by her husband, John J. Schoenlein; her son, Thomas Albert and his wife Laurie Warner; her daughter, Susan Price and her husband, Greg Price; her brothers Edward Krause and his wife, Margaret Krause, and Eugene Krause and his wife, Sandy Krause; her grandsons Patrick Furbeck and Christopher Price; and her great-grandson, Mason Price. A grandson, Stefan Price, died before her.

“In lieu of flowers,” her family wrote, “play a round of golf, because that is what she would be doing.”
