Scouts hold bottle drive

GUILDERLAND — Boy Scout Troop 50 is holding a bottle and can drive on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The Scouts are asking Guilderland residents to leave their deposit cans and bottles out for collection on Saturday morning. The Scouts will begin collecting at 8:30 a.m. on all streets off Lydius, Carman, Old State, and Route 20 from Route 146 (by Stewart’s) to the rail underpass. 

The Scouts will collect deposit cans and bottles door-to-door and take drop offs behind the Fort Hunter firehouse at 3521 Carman Road, on Sept. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents can leave items for collections by their mailbox by 8:30 a.m. or drop them off at the firehouse.
