The Rensselaerville Volunteer Fire Company Battalion is sponsoring a toy drive, collecting toys to benefit the Hilltown Community Resource Center.

New, unwrapped toys may be left, through Dec. 4, in Rensselaerville at the Hilltown Café, the Rensselaerville Town Hall, or the Rensselaerville Library.

On Saturday, Dec. 5, Santa will visit the Rensselaerville firehouse. Crafts, snacks, and games will start at 3:30 p.m.; Santa will arrive at 5 p.m.; and the village tree will be lit at 5:30 p.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, Santa will visit the Masonic Lodge in Berne, from 2 to 4 p.m. Children will  make holiday cards and tree ornaments, and drink hot cocoa and eat cookies.
