Men invited to join a church study group

ALTAMONT — All men from the wider community are warmly invited to be part of a men’s study group that meets twice monthly in the lounge of Altamont Reformed Church at 129 Lincoln Ave. in Altamont.

On the first and third Mondays of each month, from 7 to 8:15 p.m., the group gathers for discussion, support, and prayer.

Beginning on July 6, the group will start studying author Max Lucado’s book entitled “Next Door Savior: Near Enough to Touch, Strong Enough to Trust,” which addresses the powerful ways that Jesus loves and redeems the whole human family. For a copy of the book or for further information about the study group, call Pastor Bob Luidens at 861-8711 or group member Joel Edwards at 861-5175.
