We are in the throes of a monumental and historic journey

To the Editor:

Just a reminder that there will be over 3,000 No Kings peaceful protests across the country this Saturday, March 28.

President Trump continues to oppress and dissolve our freedoms. The structures of our democracy have been ravaged and the loss of life both within our borders and across the world have been overwhelming.

We are in the throes of a monumental and historic journey. As the old is being torn down, we the people need to create and prepare for a truly better America and a truly better world.

We can do it. We must do it. The future is in our hands.

Please be a part of a new and better tomorrow and join one of the many protests. We will march against ICE, and demand accountability and justice.

Some of us will be on the corners of routes 20 and 155 in Guilderland from 1 to 3 p.m. Larger protests will be on Central Avenue in Albany, and in Niskayuna, Waterford, and Clifton Park.

You are needed. Please consider spending some time at a protest; the reward is your children and grandchildren’s future.
