Photos: Battling America’s Best, Guilderland Wins National Title

This past weekend, March 13 to 15, runners from Guilderland, Bethlehem, and Berne-Knox-Westerlo took to the track at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts as they took on the nation's best.

Start of a comeback: Guilderland’s Addison Vellekoop passes two runners, coming from dead last, as she comes off the turn to set her sights on the top two runners in the 800-meter portion of the 1600-meter sprint medley relay. Vellekoop came all the way back to lead Guilderland to the National Championship with a winning time of 3:56.51 and a school record.
