On Saturday, May 2, the Altamont Elementary PTA will host its biggest fundraiser of the year — the highly anticipated Village-Wide Garage Sales! This beloved community event will take place rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with sales happening throughout the entire village.

All proceeds directly benefit the students of Altamont Elementary School through vital PTA programs.

Residents who wish to participate may find registration forms at Village Hall, the Altamont Free Library, Main Street Café, and Stewart’s Shop. Forms and additional information are also available by emailing , or registering online at: https://aes.givebacks.com/shop/items/88ec0fb8326c.

The registration deadline is Monday, April 20.

The $25 registration fee includes all advertising and map listings, and a $5 deposit for yard signs. When you return your sign you will get your $5 deposit back.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for $30.

Maps showing sale locations and item descriptions will be available for pickup at the library, firehouse, Main Street Café and Stewart’s beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 1, as well as on the morning of the sale.
