Donate pet food in memory of Dr. Joel Edwards, DVM

To the Editor:

The Altamont Reformed Church is holding its Annual Joel Edwards Memorial Pet Food Drive from Friday, March 6, through Monday, March 9, to help feed our area dogs and cats during a rough winter and high food costs.

Donations will be received as a drive-through with a receptacle in the rear parking lot, as well as inside the rear door. It is requested that no food item should exceed 20 pounds.

Our drive is in the memory of friend Dr. Joel Edwards, much loved area vet and veterinary cardiac specialist. The proceeds are donated to area shelters, the Altamont food pantry, Damian Center, and other local rescues.

We are so grateful for the generosity of the Altamont community, as are the area pets!
