On Monday, Dec. 29, the Guilderland girls’ basketball team competed in the opening round of the 42nd annual Kirvin Cup at Mohonasen High School against Schalmont. The Dutch battled all game long and finally tied it up in the fourth quarter but couldn’t get that bucket to take the lead and fell, 40-34.
