Wyatt Joe Hasinbiller

MONTPELIER, Ind. — Wyatt Joe Hasinbiller dedicated his life to helping people with his wrecker service, his family wrote in a tribute.

He died unexpectedly at 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, in his home in rural Montpelier, Indiana, which is in Washington township. He was 52.

“He was born on Monday, July 2, 1973, in Adams County, Indiana,” his family wrote. “Wyatt attended Bluffton-Harrison Metropolitan School District High School. He formerly lived in Tennessee before moving back to Wells County.

“He worked for Dredge, Outdoor Concepts, Steve’s Landscaping, and drove semi. Wyatt was owner and operator of Wyatt’s Recovery and Repair for many years; he dedicated his life to helping people with his wrecker service in Blackford and Wells counties.

“He was on the board of directors for the Civil War Reenactment. Wyatt enjoyed coaching Little League in Warren and Bluffton and loved camping with his camping crew.

“He will be forever missed.”

Wyatt Joe Hasinbiller is survived by his mother, Susan (née Meeks) Durham of Bluffton, Indiana; his stepfather, Howard Nunley, of Tennessee; and his companion, Bev Arnold of Montpelier, Indiana.

He is also survived by his sons, Reece W. (Chloe) Hasinbiller, of Montpelier, Indiana, and Conner J. (Hailey) Hasinbiller, Montpelier, Indiana; his daughters, Caressa Z. (Jacob) Doyle, of Kalama, Washington,  Jessica R. Taylor of Bluffton, Indiana, and Shelby L. (Rafe) Lewis of Bluffton, Indiana.

He is survived, too, by 11 grandchildren; his sister Alesha D. (Dustin) Enterline of Keystone, Indiana; his stepsisters , Mandy Gore, of Tennessee and  Nikki Archey of Tennessee; and by his best friend Bill Avey.

His father, Mickey Joe Hasinbiller, died before him.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember him at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W Windsor St. in Montpelier, Indiana on Tuesday, Dec. 16, from 2 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Wednesday, Dec. 17, starting at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Lyle Meece officiating.  Interment will follow in the Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton.

Memorial contributions may be made to be made to Glancy Funeral Homes for funeral expenses.
