Timothy Kenneth Vause

ROTTERDAM — Timothy “Timmy” Kenneth Vause, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, died peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at the age of 42.

He was born on Jan. 12,1983 in Islip, New York.

“Timmy,” his family wrote in a tribute, “was known for his kindness, quirky sense of humor, generosity, hard work, big heart and touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

“Timmy grew up in East Berne. He is a graduate of Mohonasen High School, Class of 2001. He continued his education at Hudson Valley Community College and became head of the information technology department at Proctor’s Theatre.

“He was passionate about Star Wars, the Marvel universe, and all things IT.  He loved solving computer-system problems.

“Above all, Tim loved his family deeply. He was a devoted father to Lila Marie, a cherished son to Jean and Kenny Vause, a loving brother to Joseph Vause, a fun-loving uncle to Samantha Jean and Charlotte Jean and a dear nephew and cousin. His warmth, laughter, and strength will continue to live on in their hearts.

Timothy Kenneth Vause is survived by his mother, Jean; daughter, Lila Marie; brother, Joseph Vause; and nieces Samantha Jean and Charlotte Jean.

His father, R. Kenny Vause, died before him.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home at 1605 Helderberg Ave. in Rotterdam. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend and celebrate his life.
