Honoring Kirk at a place of heroes deeply disturbing

To the Editor:

I am  appalled that our firehouse posted a message in front of the Guilderland firehouse honoring Charlie Kirk.

As a woman, I have been highly insulted and even threatened by many of Kirk’s comments about women. His life was about propagating the belief that all people are not created equal.

I abhor the violence that led to his death but to honor him at a place of heroes such as a firehouse is deeply disturbing.
