Harvest & Wine Festival has something for everyone

To the Editor:

Can you believe it is mid-September? There is less than a week until the Harvest & Wine Festival at the Altamont fairgrounds.

This is our second year, and it promises to be bigger, better, and more fall festive than ever! The festival runs on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This event is a celebration of all things fall— featuring local wine, spirits, and cider tastings; live music; artisan vendors; delicious food; and a wide variety of activities for kids and adults alike.

From pumpkin-carving workshops and cooking demos to a classic car show and a spooky haunted farmhouse, there’s truly something for everyone. We believe that a family-friendly, affordable event will give the community a chance to enjoy the local celebration of fall! Check altamontfair.com for all the details.
