Notice is hereby given that the TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2026 for the  Town of Guilderland has been completed and filed with the Town Clerk, Town Hall,  5209 Western Turnpike, Guilderland, NY 12084. 
A copy of the Tentative Budget is available for inspection by any interested person  at the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday,  9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.  
The Tentative Budget will be presented to the Town Board at a regular meeting on  September 16, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Guilderland Town Hall.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS – FIRE APPARATUS 
Sealed bids for the purchase by the Fort Hunter Fire District of a Triple A Combination Pumper and associated equipment will be received at the Fort Hunter Fire House, 3525 Carman Road, Schenectady, NY 12303, until 7:00 PM October 13, 2025 at which time the bids for the vehicle will be publicly read aloud.
Specifications for the Pumper and equipment may be obtained by interested suppliers free of charge at 3525 Carman Road, Schenectady, N.Y. 12303 or electronically at
Unless otherwise noted the bid specifications and instructions to bidders will be provided electronically. 
A bid bond or certified check in the amount of at least 10% of the amount of the bid must accompany bids submitted.
The Fort Hunter Fire District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the best bid suited for its specific needs. 
Bids will be binding for 36 days subsequent to bid opening.
Bidding will be in accordance with the instructions to bidders.

Legal Notice of Public Hearing on the Budget
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Budget of the Fort Hunter Fire District of the Town of Guilderland, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Fort Hunter Fire District, for its consideration.
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Fort Hunter Fire Station, 3525 Carman Road, Schenectady, New York 12303, in the Town of Guilderland, State of New York on the 13th day of October, 2025. 
Pursuant to Town Law §105, the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing.
The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same. 
That a copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Guilderland at Western Turnpike, Guilderland N.Y. 12084 and Fire District Secretary at 3525 Carman Road, Schenectady, New York 12303, where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
