Jeffrey M. Fisher

KNOX — Jeffrey M. Fisher, a jack of all trades always willing to help others, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at his Knox home, surrounded by his family. He was 64.

“Jeff was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather,” his father wrote in a tribute. “He was a very loyal and devoted friend to many.

“He was a jack of all trades. He would always lend a helping hand whenever needed. No task was too big or too small for him to handle.

“He was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.

“Jeff was also a huge NASCAR enthusiast, also known as Ricky Bobby. He enjoyed going up to Watkins Glen to watch the race and camp with his friends and family every year. He was known as the grill master; whether it was grilling or smoking, no one could compete.

“Jeff grew up in Voorheesville. He traveled to multiple states to fairs with Jay Spaulding Tattoos. He worked for the railroad and finally started his career working for Local 12 Ironworkers.

“He was a member of Voorheesville Rod and Gun Club, Altamont Veterans of Foreign Wars Horseshoe League, Frontier Snowriders, and the Warners Lake Improvement Association.”
