GLENMONT— A 32-year-old man was killed on July 14 when, police say, a vehicle driving south on Route 9W near Corning Hill Road in Glenmont crossed over the center line, hitting a motorcyclist traveling north.

On July 15, Bethlehem Police identified the motorcyclist as Patrick Lafortune Jr. of Schenectady. After the crash at about 5 p.m. on Monday, he had been taken to Albany Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Jacob M. Snide, 33, of Ravena was identified as the driver; he was not injured, according to a release from the Bethlehem Police.

The crash is still being investigated by the Bethlehem Police Department and the Albany County Crash Investigation Team.
