ACT is taking grant applications

To the Editor:

We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Altamont Community Tradition 2025 Community Grants. 

Funded by event revenues and other generous gifts, these small grants (up to $500) are donated to projects of local not-for-profit organizations that align with ACT’s mission of historic preservation and/or strengthening the village community through engaging activities.

The deadline for applications is May 1.  Successful applicants will be notified by June 1. 

In the past, ACT has supported the Altamont Archives, the Altamont Reformed Church, and the Altamont Free Library. In 2024, ACT donated to the Altamont Fair Historical Committee and the Altamont Elementary PTA.
