Knox accident sends four to hospital

KNOX — A traffic accident Friday morning resulted in four people being sent to Albany Medical Center for further treatment, including one who was in critical condition.

Guilderland Emergency Medical Services — which serves the town of Knox — wrote on Facebook that the accident occurred at roughly 8:45 a.m. and that five people were evaluated for injuries.

Acting Director of Guilderland EMS Sean McGaughnea told The Enterprise that he could not provide a statement about the cause of the accident, referring the newspaper to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, which could not be reached. Patient details are protected by privacy laws, he noted.
