BERNE — Robert Jesse Chrysler Jr., who liked outdoor activities and tinkering around his home, died on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, in his Berne home surrounded by his family after losing a battle with cancer.

“Robert enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycle rides and tinkering around his home, his happy place,” his partner wrote in a tribute. “Robert enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he also enjoyed being a Poppy to a couple little guys.”

He is survived by his partner, Brenda Dibble; his sisters, Bonnie (George), Dawn (Dean), Pam (Tom); and his brother Jesse (Kaitlyn) as well as by many nephews and nieces. 

His parents, Robert Sr. and Normadean Chrysler, died before him.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. 

No service or calling hours will be held. 

A private celebration will be held at a later date.

  • Donna Jean Tork died on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, at the home of her niece Donna-Jean Feathers, surrounded by her family in Parrish, Florida after a short illness. She was 80.
