Our New Scotland hosts Community Day on August 18
To the Editor:
Exciting news! The local business community of Our New Scotland is thrilled to announce the upcoming Community Day on Sunday, Aug. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nichols Park, located behind the American Legion Hall.
We extend a warm invitation to everyone to join us for this special event. After the success of last year’s festivities, we are eager to recreate the fun-filled day. Make sure to save the date so we can enjoy it together once more!
Community Day presents a fantastic opportunity for you to connect with various local business owners. Over 18 businesses and community services will be present, each offering something unique and engaging for you to explore. Don’t forget to visit The Gourmet Cupboard booth for refreshing lemonade and delightful, sweet and/or spicy snacks.
Just like last time, we’ll have live tunes by Mike Thomas and the Late-Night Philosophers, a bounce house, and face-painting for the little ones (thanks, Serendipity Day Care), as well as fun activities from the Voorheesville Public Library.
Plus, there will be food vendors dishing up hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, and more! And new this year — we're setting up a dunk tank where you can try to send some of our local leaders into the drink! Who can pass up that opportunity?
All of us from Our New Scotland can’t wait to see you on the 18th — it’s going to be a blast!
Smiles.
