Photos: Bulldogs Are The Top Dog In NYS

On Saturday, June 8, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo softball team took to the field at Martha Avenue Recreational Park in Bellport as they took on Bombers from Bloomfield, from Section 5, in the Class C state championship game. It was a pitchers’ duel throughout the game but the Bulldogs got a run in the sixth and held on 1-to-0 to win the school’s first state championship.
