David L. Romey

KNOX — David L. Romey of Knox, who was proud of his work, died in Albany on Monday, May 13, 2024. He was 61.
Born on Dec. 18, 1962, he was the son of the late Gary and Betty (née Mayfield) Romey and the beloved husband of Roberta Romey with whom he shared 34 years of marriage. 

“David was a proud employee of the Vinyl Works in Latham,” his family wrote in a tribute, “where he was on the manufacturing floor of swimming pool liners and was the head cutter in his department.”

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Aaron Romey, and two sisters, Lorene (Mark Rogow) Romey and Treena (William) Hubbard. He is also survived by his nephew, Justin Rogow. 

His two nieces died before him. 

Family and friends are invited to visit with his family in the Fredendall Funeral Home at 199 Main St in Altamont on May 31 from 4 to 7 p.m.
