Todd Andrew Rosa

“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodby so hard.”

— A.A. Milne, creator of Winnie the Pooh

Todd A. Rosa, who loved motorcycles and restoring cars, died on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023. He was 58.

“He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend,” his family wrote in a tribute. “Anyone that had a chance to be in Todd’s circle, quickly learned that there were always laughs to be shared.

“It was impossible to spend time with him without enjoying a laugh at some point in the conversation. His humor was witty and his generosity, one of a kind.

“From an early age, Todd’s love of motorcycles began. I remember a small mini-bike he would ride around the yard at record breaking speeds! Even his bicycle jump ramps were higher than ever!

“Eventually that small mini-bike turned into a motorcycle. He loved them. Each one faster than the one before. He was often seen riding on one, that’s right, one wheel of his motorcycle! He was the master of ‘wheelies’!

“His love of restoring cars, old and new, was something Todd took great pride in, restoring his latest project, a 1972 Chevelle from the ground up. His talent for restoring cars can be seen all over the area. Todd worked for Auto Cosmetics in Altamont for 13 years and chances are, if you had a car painted at Auto Cosmetics, Todd was the one who painted it!

“Todd enjoyed spending his free time with his friends and family, playing with his grandchildren, boating on Sacandaga Lake, and golfing.”
