Photos: New Queens Crowned At Altamont Fair
On Tuesday, Aug. 15, the Miss Altamont Fair Pageant held their competition before the official opening of the fair when seven new queens will grace the fair through out the week.

Cheer to victory: Izzy Cyran, 6, of Niskayuna shows off her hobby-wear to the crowd in the Little Miss division, for ages 5 to 7, on Tuesday morning. Izzy won the Little Miss division, out of five competitors, with Hailey Decker of Altamont as her first alternate and Kaleigha Jerome of Schenectady as her second alternate.

New Queen: Anaya Acevedo, 10, of Albany squats down so that Junior Miss 2022 Ellie Leszczynski places the crown on her head in the Young Miss division, for ages 8 to10, out of five competitors. Hailey Hannan of Westerlo is her first alternate and Paisley Pelton Greenville is her second alternate.

Alexis won out of three competitors as Sarah Coons of Albany is her first alternate and Ava Jones of Schenectady is her second alternate.

Smiling ear to ear: Zoie Libertucci, 20, of Ravena kneels down as 2022 Mrs. Altamont Fair places the crown on her head in the Miss Altamont division, for unmarried women ages 18 to 25. Libertucci won out of two competitors and Omarra Hannibal-Willams of Voorheesville is her alternate.

Surprise! Amanda Liggett, 32, Glenville was surprised on becoming Mrs. Altamont Fair, for married women aged 18 and over. Since no one entered in the division for Junior Miss 2022, Ellie Leszczynski places the crown on her head as Kimberly Fritze DonVito puts a styrofoam crown on her daughter, Sage, with a sash that reads “Little Miss in Training.”
