On Community Day, all our doors will be open in one location

To the Editor:
I’m so excited to see that the New Scotland Community Day scheduled for Aug. 20 at Voorheesville’s village park is getting coverage in your newspaper! I’m also a member of Our New Scotland Business Community, and I’ve really valued the relationships I’ve built with other members and all that I’ve learned from them so far!

I want to go beyond just talking about how NSBC can benefit business owners. I want to show how business owners benefit New Scotland and its close-knit residents!

Our chance to demonstrate our value as local and family enterprises happens every day when we open the doors to our places of business. On Community Day, all our doors will be open in one location, so our neighbors can see our goods and services on display amid the local food and music.

If the Memorial Day Parade is what kicks off summer, we want Community Day to be a reminder that summer is still kicking! So come on out and taste, touch, see, hear, and smell what New Scotland’s all about! We can’t wait to see everyone and start our New Scotland Community Day tradition!
