REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
WESTERN TURNPIKE GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE ROOF REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
The Town of Guilderland (“Town”) is seeking proposals for the removal and replacement of the roof at the Western Turnpike Golf Course Clubhouse, located at 2350 Western Avenue, Guilderland NY 12084.
The “Town” is seeking a reliable and experienced contractor to undertake this important project in compliance with the regulations set forth by the “Town” as described herein.
Project Overview:
The Western Turnpike Golf Course Clubhouse, a prominent recreational facility in our community, requires a complete roof replacement due to age and wear. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit competitive bids from qualified contractors who possess the necessary expertise, resources, and experience to successfully complete the project.

An original and one copy of the proposal shall be filed with Lynne M. Buchanan, Town Clerk, Guilderland Town Hall, 5209 Western Turnpike, Guilderland, NY 12084 no later than 4:00 pm on August 16, 2023, opening of bids will immediately commence. A proposal may be modified or withdrawn at any time prior to the opening date and time upon written request to the Town.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Town of Westerlo Zoning Board will be holding (1) one Public Hearing on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 7 PM at the Richard Rapp Municipal Building located at 933 CR 401 in Westerlo. The Public Hearing is for the Malphrus Variance (V 23-2). Applicant recently replaced a 72x14 1988 mobile home with a new modular ranch. Applicant would like to keep the mobile home for use as a storage building. Applicant is asking relief from zoning code section 14.50C (no mobile home shall be used as a storage shed). Located at 1082 CR 411. SBL# 140.-1-42.38.
