GUILDERLAND CENTER — “It is with sad hearts, we announce that Richard Alan Kronsberg, 49, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2023 at St. Peter's Hospital after being stricken at work,” his family wrote in a tribute.
He was born on Oct. 12, 1973 in Cobleskill, New York. His parents, Mary Lou (née Quay) Kronsberg Sapio and Robert Kronsberg, died before him.

“Rich attended Guilderland schools,” the tribute said. “He enjoyed nature, being outdoors, and cruising on his motorcycle with friends or peaceful solo rides. The lookout at Thacher Park was a favorite spot to stop.

“His zeal for adventure, adoration for love itself, and his distinctive exuberant chuckle will hopefully live on in the hearts of all who knew him.”
