You’re invited to dedication ceremonies for two historic markers

To the Editor:
The Guilderland Historical Society would like to invite the community to two dedications of historic markers.

On Thursday, June 15, at 11 a.m., there will be a dedication of the Early Turnpike marker. The site will be at 1980 Western Ave. at Highwood Circle, which is part of the entrance to Hawthorne Gardens. 

On Sunday, June 25, at 10 a.m., there will be a dedication of the Fullers historic marker just south of the intersection of Fullers Station Road and U.S. Route 20.  The address is 6685 Fuller Station Road. 

Both historic markers have been obtained with help of grants from the William G. Pomeroy Foundation. The ceremonies will last about 20 to 25 minutes.
