The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring an “Emerald” luncheon on Tuesday, March 14, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Route 146 (Carman Road) beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. Please be prompt.

Your reservation is necessary no later than March 9 and you must let us know ahead if you cancel. Please call Nancy at 518-320-2649 or Mae at 518-895-8977 for reservations. On the menu this month is corned beef and cabbage with an alternative choice of grilled chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive, cash only.

Our speaker this month is Elecia Roy, a registered nurse, poet, and author from Southwick, Massachusetts, who will be speaking on “Finding Our Greater Confidence and Self-Worth.” Ms. Roy will also have books for sale.

As for our feature, Kristy Grassucci-Powers, a soap artist with a business located in Scotia named Soaps by Kristy, will have handmade products made from natural sources for sale.
