Hilltown parade will march again

To the Editor:

The Kiwanis Club of the Helderbergs invites the local and greater area community to the 2023 Memorial Day Parade in Berne on Monday, May 29.

We are excited to return to a pre-pandemic format, which brings back the marching element that we have all missed so much. The parade will start at 10 a.m. and progress west along Route 443, to the Berne-Knox-Westerlo campus, ending with a short remembrance program.

This is the Kiwanians’ 60th parade, supported each year by the three Hilltowns of Berne, Knox, and Westerlo. Please join us as we honor our fallen soldiers, thank our first responders, and share in our sense of community.
