Dorothy Kohler celebrates her 93rd birthday on Jan. 11 at Gracie’s Kitchen in Voorheesville where she lunches several times a week. “Dorothy is an amazing woman who raised her family in Voorheesville, had a successful nursing career, serves on her church board, and actually published her first book — a memoir — just prior to the pandemic,” said Grace Thompson who owns the restaurant.

To the Editor:

I want to thank Gracie, Mae, and Sue from Gracie’s Kitchen and I want to thank the mayor,  Richard Straut, for the lovely surprise party they gave me.

It was the nicest I’ve had in many, many years.
