BPD: Shooting at car leads to felony charges

BETHLEHEM — A 21-year-old Troy man was charged with attempted murder on Tuesday.

Bethlehem Police arrested Zereem N. Williams on charges stemming from a Feb. 15, 2022 domestic incident, according to a release from the department.

The victim said she was leaving 136 Kenwood Ave. in Delmar at about 7 p.m. when Williams “discharged a firearm at her vehicle,” the release said, adding that no one was injured.

In addition to second-degree attempted murder, Williams was charged with three other felonies: first-degree criminal use of a firearm, first-degree attempted assault, and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Police said on Wednesday that no further information on the case is being released.
