Middleburgh Library Notes for Tuesday, December 6, 2022

Join us on Dec. 9 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. for Miracle on Main Street — 5 x 5 Art At The Library.

This is our first annual fundraising exhibit to benefit programming at the Middleburgh Library, featuring small works of art, each less than 5 by 5 inches.

This 5 x 5 Art at the Library show and sale is open to all artists, creatives, makers, and crafters. The library is seeking small artwork donations in any media. The opening reception is on Friday, Dec. 9, during Miracle on Main Street.

Basket raffle

On Dec. 9 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. join us for Miracle on Main Street  - The Middleburgh Library’s Annual Holiday Basket Raffle is underway. Tickets are on sale at the library circulation desk and are $1 each, or six for $5. The raffle runs until Dec. 21, and we will be open to purchase tickets on Friday, Dec. 9, during Middleburgh’s Miracle On Main Street. Proceeds from the basket raffle are used for library programming to benefit the community.

Drop-in Storytime

On Dec. 13 at 10:45 a.m. join Miss Terry for this fun, interactive storytime geared toward little ones ages 0-5 and their caregivers! We'll read books, sing songs and watch a short film based on our weekly theme. All children will go home with a coloring sheet or take home craft. No registration required.

Homeschool Science Club

On Dec. 15 from 11 a.m. to noon the Homeschool Science Club will meet every other Thursday and go over our science fair projects, research, help each other and of course, do a cool experiment! This program is for homeschooled students ages 6 and up. Registration is required for each week, so we have enough materials.
