Middleburgh Library Notes for Tuesday, November 22, 2022

The Middleburgh Library’s Annual Holiday Basket Raffle is underway. Tickets are on sale at the library circulation desk and are $1 each, or six for $5. The raffle runs until Dec. 21, and we will be open to purchase tickets on Friday, Dec. 9, during Middleburgh’s Miracle On Main Street. Proceeds from the basket raffle are used for library programming to benefit the community.

There are 27 baskets including baskets from the Conglomerate, Mid Valley Auto, W.Whitman Books, gift certificates to Hubies and the Middleburgh Diner, Cyprus Hill Farm, Laura Kelly Pottery, the Century Club, The Apple Barrel.

Also a coffee-break basket with French press, coffee grinder, coffee beans, two mugs and biscotti; a handmade bird feeder with a bag of bird seed; baskets with kids activities; a basket full of soup mixes and crackers; an Italian dinner basket with plates; collectible doll baskets; Body Works bath products — there is something for everyone, and just in time for the holidays!

Drop-in Storytime

On Nov. 29 at 10:45 a.m. join Miss Terry for this fun, interactive storytime geared toward little ones ages 0-5 and their caregivers! We'll read books, sing songs and watch a short film based on our weekly theme. All children will go home with a coloring sheet or take home craft. No registration required.

Homeschool Science Club

On Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to noon and every other Thursday we will meet and go over our science fair projects, research, help each other and of course, do a cool experiment! This program is for homeschooled students ages 6 and up. Registration is required for each week, so we have enough materials.

5x 5 Art At The Library 

1st Annual Fundraising Exhibit to Benefit Programming at the Middleburgh Library.
