BETHLEHEM — A detached garage at the rear of  202 Glenmont Road was “fully involved” on Sunday at 2:42 p.m. after Bethlehem Police received a report of the structure fire.
Residents were able to leave their home without injury, according to a Sunday evening release from the Bethlehem Police Department.

Bethlehem Police detectives and fire investigators were on scene and the fire is still under investigation to determine the cause, but it does not appear suspicious, the release said.

Responding fire departments included those from Elsmere, Delmar, Selkirk, Slingerlands, and North Bethlehem. Also assisting at the scene were the Albany County Sheriff Paramedics and the Delmar-Bethlehem Emergency Medical Services.

The property, with a one-family Cape Cod-style house, is listed on the Bethlehem assessment rolls as having a tentative full market value for 2022 of $238,372.
