Middleburgh Library Notes for Wednesday, June 15, 2022

The Middleburgh Library is sponsoring a free Carpool Cinema on June 18 at 8:30 p.m. at Timothy Murphy Park in Middleburgh.

Board meets

On June 20 at 6 p.m. the library’s Board of Trustees will meet. The public is welcome.

Mahjong

On June 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. Mahjong is back at the Middleburgh Library. Come and join the group. If you don't know how to play and want to learn, the group will help you.

Dinner & a movie

On June 24 at 5:30 p.m. Dinner & a Movie is Back! Join us for a fun night of friends and food.  The library will supply pizza and drinks and you bring a dessert or snack to share. We will be watching the critically acclaimed film, “Belfast.”

Surrounded by sporadic violence and growing danger, nine-year-old Buddy finds himself confronted with the ugly reality of sectarian conflict. And, as the suffocating stranglehold of increasing turmoil tightens around his once-peaceful working-class neighborhood, Buddy tries his best to understand The Troubles--after all, someone must be responsible for forcing people to flee their homes. Now, Buddy's family must come face to face with a nearly impossible, life-altering decision: stay or start packing?  

Registration is required and space is limited.
