The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Begin Our Summer Season” luncheon on Tuesday, June 14, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Route 146 (Carman Road), beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. Please be prompt.

Your reservation is necessary no later than June 9 and you must let us know if you cancel. Please call Nancy at 518-320-2649 for reservations. On the menu this month is a meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes with an alternative choice of grilled chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only).

Our speaker this month is Carol Ann Gleason and her topic is “Rising To and From Depression.” As for our feature, Jennifer Bear, owner of JKB Crafts, will be bringing her homemade chocolates and candy for sale. Our music will be provided by singer Peter Jorgenson.
