St. John’s Lutheran Church in Altamont is celebrating its 150th anniversary.

To the Editor:

All are invited to St. John’s Lutheran Church on Maple Avenue in Altamont on Sunday, March 20, to begin the celebration of the church’s 150th anniversary.

Bishop Lee Miller II will preach and install our new pastor, Rev. Eric Reimer. A light buffet reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall following the worship service at 11 a.m.

The service will also be broadcast live on Zoom via the link on the church website at www.stjohnsaltamont.org.

There will be a slideshow of photos of many people and events from St. John’s history since 1872 and information about our anniversary project supporting the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, lirs.org.
