Voorheesville Library Notes for Wednesday, March 2, 2022

Two different book groups at the Voorheesville Public Library are discussing “Resistance Women” by Jennifer Chiaverini, this month. Inspired by actual events, the novel tells the story of Mildred Fish Harnack and her circle of women friends who waged a clandestine battle against Hitler in Nazi Berlin.

Magic the Gathering is the world’s most popular strategy card game. Students in grades 6 to 12, and adults are invited to register for the library’s March Magic event. Free decks are available for beginners. All levels of knowledge and skill are invited to join us from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 6.
